The Division of Geriatrics is responsible for clinical services, training and research in geriatrics and gerontology. The Division has fifteen primary faculty members in the Department of Medicine, and collaborating faculty members from the Departments of Psychiatry and Community and Family Medicine, as well as other divisions of the Department of Medicine. Resources available to the Division include those of the Duke University Center for the Study of Aging and Human Development, the Geriatric Research, Education and Clinical Center of the Durham VA, and the Duke Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center (OAIC).
